My Eagle Scout Service Project will involve planning, organizing, and leading the construction of a Lego table, train table, 30 wooden blocks, four benches, and a double-sided bookshelf for Sacred Heart Academy. The project will require coordinating volunteers, sourcing and managing materials, and overseeing all phases of construction, from preparation through completion.
These custom-built furnishings will enhance Sacred Heart Academy’s classroom and shared learning spaces by providing durable, safe, and age-appropriate resources that encourage hands-on learning, creativity, and collaboration. Designed for daily use, the completed items will provide a lasting benefit to the school community and serve students and educators for many years to come.

For my Eagle Project, I focused on beautifying the front entrance of Christ Memorial Lutheran Church through horticulture and planting. The area originally had an overgrown flowerbed, exposed septic pipes and covers that made the space unattractive to both visitors and members of the congregation. We cleaned up the existing flowerbed, removed sod, and built a new flowerbed complete with a border and topsoil. With the help of Longwood Gardens, I selected colorful, year-round plants and shrubs. By reshaping the landscaping and adding fresh, vibrant plantings, I turned the church’s entrance into an inviting space that welcomes everyone who visits.

With the help of my family and fellow Scouts, I built four benches and a stage at Malvern Memorial Cabin for my Eagle Scout project. The benches and stage will be used to give extra seating and a place to hold ceremonies for the Scout groups, home school pods, and other community groups that meet at the cabin.

My Eagle project was to paint bulletin boards at Ridley Creek State Park to match the state park forest color requirements. The Scouts and I also cleaned worn-out trail signs throughout the trails in the park. We painted a total of 2 boards and a few posts along the trails and cleaned dozens of signs.
